# 투고 TUGO > AI journal recommendation and submission preparation for Korean humanities and social-science researchers. Built on Claude (Anthropic). Startup, South Korea, founded July 2026. ## Problem Korean university libraries run "journal recommendation" services that take about 14 days and are limited to faculty and doctoral students. Researchers then spend hours reformatting citations and layout for each journal, whose rules are scattered across HWP files, PDFs and society websites. ## What works today (free plan) - Journal recommendation in about a minute from a paper's title, abstract and keywords. Topics and key terms come from OpenAlex; journals are ranked by similar humanities and social-science papers from the last ten years; each suggestion lists the papers it is based on, with open-access status, APC and citation indicators. - Search across indexes: 1,864 Korean KCI journals (humanities, social sciences, interdisciplinary; Korea Citation Index open data, 2025-08-25), 674 CSSCI 2025-2026 source journals, and SSCI / A&HCI / SCIE / Scopus reference flags from Wikidata (CC0), each linked to the official list for verification. - Community corrections: proposals with an evidence link, checked by the operator before publication. ## How Claude is used - Built, deploying with the site: Claude turns Korean titles and abstracts into English search queries in the terminology of international scholarship. - Planned: Claude extracts each journal's submission guidelines (HWP, PDF, web; Korean, English, Chinese) into one fixed schema, checked by a person against the source. - Planned, main paid feature: Claude converts citations, footnotes and layout to the chosen journal's rules and lists every change for author approval. It never rewrites the author's argument or wording. No ghostwriting. - The product, data pipelines and an HWPX (Hangul) template-filling engine are built with Claude Code. ## Principles No ghostwriting; no guaranteed publication; no paid placement; sources and check dates on every record; official index lists linked for verification; no Journal Impact Factor republishing. ## Data sources - Korea Citation Index journal data (data.go.kr, unrestricted license) - OpenAlex (CC0) - Wikidata P8875 "indexed in bibliographic review" (CC0) - reference only, not official - CSSCI 2025-2026 source journal list (university-posted copy)
